Have a very merry christmas

Christmas here is such a big deal! It is huge! Unfortunately mostly marketing wise, it is the do or die for a lot of businesses. They try to sell you, upsell you etc...
One would think that Christmas is all about material gifts.

I know also there is another category of people on Christmas they do nothing but good deeds, giving out money to poor families, giving gifts to unfortunate kids, feeding the homeless and so on... I applaud them for that and pray God that he fortifies them to keep on blessing others with their blessings. Unfortunately, a lot of these people do stuff just because it is Christmas and would only do it on Christmas but I am happy to say that most of them are great people and would do it at any time of the year. As a matter of fact, their deeds would go unnoticed since "christmas spirit" will be gone by the end of December.

Let me be clear on that, give, give, give is the most amazing thing you can do but it becomes not that good when you do it just so that people can talk about how good of a person you are.

See Christmas is about giving but rather a gift with no return. Christmas is all about Jesus, it is not about reindeer, elf, Santa Clause etc.. though I like these characters but the main story of Christmas is all over in the bible! As a matter of fact a prophecy was giving in the book of Isaiah: for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon is shoulder and he will be called wonderful counselor, everlasting father, prince of peace, Mighty God!

We were given a gift that we actually did not deserve and could not afford! As we go along the season with joy and happiness and lights etc... Let's us be reminded that Jesus is the reason for the season and be thankful to him for giving his life for the redemption of our sins!

Christmas has always been special for me and it still his till today because... Yes, of the gifts.... and also since now I have my own family I want to make it as exciting to my kids as I can!

I am looking forward to read about people who wants to express what Christmas means to them.

From my family to you and yours have a wonderful, Jesus-filled Christmas and may this Christmas spirit keep on going throughout the whole year! Let's do our effort to be a better individual for this new year! Be safe and loving and kind to everyone!

Joy, Peace and love!

What are you thankful for?

We do have thousands of things to be thankful for whether we realize or not but one thing we are pretty good at doing is rather complaining about events, situation or things that do not go our ways. We complain for the merest things and I mean the merest such as complaining for the extra fries which does not have enough fries, the extra tomatoes that we ask on our sandwich not having enough tomatoes, the water coming out of the faucet is too warm or too cold or it takes two seconds too long for the lights to come green on our side of the road, the TV channels not actually having enough channels for us to watch though we already have more than 90 of them, we complain about the preacher who prays or preaches too long, the sun not getting out or it is too hot or too cold and I can go on and on but I am going to stop here so that I do not get you depressed.

But, how many times have we stop to count our blessings! See, life is has you take it! It is actually the half full half empty theory! You can complain about your hamburger or you can sy thank you Lord that at least I have appetite! You can complain about your cable, how about you take the time to be grateful that you have electricity 24/7.

I have these instances but I am pretty sure in everybody's personal life it is something different and when you truly do a self examination you know what I am talking about!

Of course they are those who are grateful just on some particular occasions! Being grateful should be an everyday thing! Every breath we take we should think about it and thank God! Once again it will be impossible to do, so my point is whatever is bordering you that you are not happy about, there are thousands of others that if you really take the time you would find that you should have been grateful for!

I thanks God that America has set aside a day to give thanks though some people make it rather an eating till you can't anymore event! I am grateful that I myself will think about my blessings more rather than than my misfortune! Millions of people would rather be in my place! Please don't take me wrong I am not telling to sit here and make no efforts being satisfied where you are not all... But if you are conscious enough of where you are and thriving for excellence as you have in mind the various things that could have gone wrong with you but did not, in my opinion you can become a better citizen.

Stop and be reminded always that no one owes you a thing! Be thankful to the ones who offer help and pass it on! Keep it going like that and also pay it forward as much as you can! There are so many things that we are blessed with without even knowing it or just taking it for granted. As a matter of fact what we are blessed with and should be thankful for and do not even notice, outweighs what we are knowingly thankful for! So, one more reason to always be thankful!

Let's all be thankful for everything God has done for us! He gave his son to die on the cross for our sins! We did not deserve it at all and no matter what we do we can't pay him back but if we are thankful we can be in a better position to help others which as result will make us a better person.

I thank God for my family! My siblings and extended family, my friends and most of all I thank him for giving me hope that tomorrow can be better if I act on it today in a positive way!

Happy Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for?

Happy Veteran Day

Today is a day of remembrance for those men of uniform who have fought for us. Specially those who have been fighting on foreign soil so that they do not have to fight the war inland!

salute you all veterans! I know you are from all age range, you are from different countries therefore different background though you might have the English language in common, many of you have a primary language.

In spite of all this difference you are fighting, you fought or are serving for one purpose only! Keep us safe in America and help other countries enjoy democracy I salute you all for your bravery and determination!

As we are celebrating our veterans let not also forget the Fort Hood shooting rampage victims! No matter what your religious or political stand is nothing justifies this barbaric and coward act. You do not like something you are free to express yourself but do not take it on anybody! They are just following orders!

It all comes to this, whether you want to admit it or not: People need the Lord! He is peace and will take your burden away from you!
People need to realize that even when they do not think about it, somebody somewhere is doing the hard work of protecting them and it should not be taken for granted!

Have a wonderful veteran Day and if you see a former/active men in uniform tell him/her thanks for the sacrifice!

I voted!

Today was a very special day for me since it was the first time I ever voted on a US election! I was so happy! Because of freedom we can go to the poll and decide who we want to be in power or what issue we care about! Let us remember this is not free many before us fought for that and many more are still fighting for it to all of them I say thank you for your devotion! So go ahead and vote! Not voting is actually choosing someone you would not want to win! Always vote! It matters!

I could not help but notice though that I was not asked for my ID when I got to the poll and I have learned that there is a big controversy about that depending on which side you are in! Please tell me what you think! Should you present your ID to vote?

SIng your patriotism out!

We are doing something special this time and it has to do with patriotism and singing! This is not a contest yet but just having fun! What I need is that you email your rendition of the Star Spangled Banner ( USA National Anthem)and I will post it. It will be filtered of course and the fact that you send one acknowledge that it is really you.

Thanks for your participation! The plan next depending on how many people we have to participate, will be for readers to vote for their favorite rendition.

Have fun and please let your friends know about it!
God bless America

In remembrance of the victims of 9-11-01

I remember exactly where I was on 9/11/01 as I am pretty sure we all do since this was and still is a life-changing moment for most of us. On this date thousands lost their lives due to terrorists attack. 9/11 did not only see people from the USA being hurt but the whole world at least most of it. This is the reason why we should never forget it.

We had a 9-11 in Haiti when some gunmen came and started shooting in a church a lot of people died as well but not as many as the US 9-11!

After 9-11 happened, there was a spirit of Unity everybody was reevaluating their life and going back to church and being proud to be Americans but as days and years go by it fades away! America it is time to rise and remember the values the country was founded upon and let us be grateful to be alive no matter what is going on and let us remember those who lost their life during this terrible day!

You are welcome to leave a message here and if you have a friend, parent or any loved one you lost let us know about that and share your feelings with us!

May God bless America and protect her from all danger and let us remember that we have to trust in God 'cause he is our creator!
Freedom is not free!

President Obama's Message for America's Students

Prepared Remarks of President Barack Obama
Back to School Event

Arlington, Virginia
September 8, 2009

The President: Hello everyone – how’s everybody doing today? I’m here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we’ve got students tuning in from all across America, kindergarten through twelfth grade. I’m glad you all could join us today.
I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. And for those of you in kindergarten, or starting middle or high school, it’s your first day in a new school, so it’s understandable if you’re a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now, with just one more year to go. And no matter what grade you’re in, some of you are probably wishing it were still summer, and you could’ve stayed in bed just a little longer this morning.
I know that feeling. When I was young, my family lived in Indonesia for a few years, and my mother didn’t have the money to send me where all the American kids went to school. So she decided to teach me extra lessons herself, Monday through Friday – at 4:30 in the morning.
Now I wasn’t too happy about getting up that early. A lot of times, I’d fall asleep right there at the kitchen table. But whenever I’d complain, my mother would just give me one of those looks and say, "This is no picnic for me either, buster."
So I know some of you are still adjusting to being back at school. But I’m here today because I have something important to discuss with you. I’m here because I want to talk with you about your education and what’s expected of all of you in this new school year.
Now I’ve given a lot of speeches about education. And I’ve talked a lot about responsibility.
I’ve talked about your teachers’ responsibility for inspiring you, and pushing you to learn.
I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox.
I’ve talked a lot about your government’s responsibility for setting high standards, supporting teachers and principals, and turning around schools that aren’t working where students aren’t getting the opportunities they deserve.
But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, and the best schools in the world – and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities. Unless you show up to those schools; pay attention to those teachers; listen to your parents, grandparents and other adults; and put in the hard work it takes to succeed.
And that’s what I want to focus on today: the responsibility each of you has for your education. I want to start with the responsibility you have to yourself.
Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide.
Maybe you could be a good writer – maybe even good enough to write a book or articles in a newspaper – but you might not know it until you write a paper for your English class. Maybe you could be an innovator or an inventor – maybe even good enough to come up with the next iPhone or a new medicine or vaccine – but you might not know it until you do a project for your science class. Maybe you could be a mayor or a Senator or a Supreme Court Justice, but you might not know that until you join student government or the debate team.
And no matter what you want to do with your life – I guarantee that you’ll need an education to do it. You want to be a doctor, or a teacher, or a police officer? You want to be a nurse or an architect, a lawyer or a member of our military? You’re going to need a good education for every single one of those careers. You can’t drop out of school and just drop into a good job. You’ve got to work for it and train for it and learn for it.
And this isn’t just important for your own life and your own future. What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country. What you’re learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future.
You’ll need the knowledge and problem-solving skills you learn in science and math to cure diseases like cancer and AIDS, and to develop new energy technologies and protect our environment. You’ll need the insights and critical thinking skills you gain in history and social studies to fight poverty and homelessness, crime and discrimination, and make our nation more fair and more free. You’ll need the creativity and ingenuity you develop in all your classes to build new companies that will create new jobs and boost our economy.
We need every single one of you to develop your talents, skills and intellect so you can help solve our most difficult problems. If you don’t do that – if you quit on school – you’re not just quitting on yourself, you’re quitting on your country.
Now I know it’s not always easy to do well in school. I know a lot of you have challenges in your lives right now that can make it hard to focus on your schoolwork.
I get it. I know what that’s like. My father left my family when I was two years old, and I was raised by a single mother who struggled at times to pay the bills and wasn’t always able to give us things the other kids had. There were times when I missed having a father in my life. There were times when I was lonely and felt like I didn’t fit in.
So I wasn’t always as focused as I should have been. I did some things I’m not proud of, and got in more trouble than I should have. And my life could have easily taken a turn for the worse.
But I was fortunate. I got a lot of second chances and had the opportunity to go to college, and law school, and follow my dreams. My wife, our First Lady Michelle Obama, has a similar story. Neither of her parents had gone to college, and they didn’t have much. But they worked hard, and she worked hard, so that she could go to the best schools in this country.
Some of you might not have those advantages. Maybe you don’t have adults in your life who give you the support that you need. Maybe someone in your family has lost their job, and there’s not enough money to go around. Maybe you live in a neighborhood where you don’t feel safe, or have friends who are pressuring you to do things you know aren’t right.
But at the end of the day, the circumstances of your life – what you look like, where you come from, how much money you have, what you’ve got going on at home – that’s no excuse for neglecting your homework or having a bad attitude. That’s no excuse for talking back to your teacher, or cutting class, or dropping out of school. That’s no excuse for not trying.
Where you are right now doesn’t have to determine where you’ll end up. No one’s written your destiny for you. Here in America, you write your own destiny. You make your own future.
That’s what young people like you are doing every day, all across America.
Young people like Jazmin Perez, from Roma, Texas. Jazmin didn’t speak English when she first started school. Hardly anyone in her hometown went to college, and neither of her parents had gone either. But she worked hard, earned good grades, got a scholarship to Brown University, and is now in graduate school, studying public health, on her way to being Dr. Jazmin Perez.
I’m thinking about Andoni Schultz, from Los Altos, California, who’s fought brain cancer since he was three. He’s endured all sorts of treatments and surgeries, one of which affected his memory, so it took him much longer – hundreds of extra hours – to do his schoolwork. But he never fell behind, and he’s headed to college this fall.
And then there’s Shantell Steve, from my hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Even when bouncing from foster home to foster home in the toughest neighborhoods, she managed to get a job at a local health center; start a program to keep young people out of gangs; and she’s on track to graduate high school with honors and go on to college.
Jazmin, Andoni and Shantell aren’t any different from any of you. They faced challenges in their lives just like you do. But they refused to give up. They chose to take responsibility for their education and set goals for themselves. And I expect all of you to do the same.
That’s why today, I’m calling on each of you to set your own goals for your education – and to do everything you can to meet them. Your goal can be something as simple as doing all your homework, paying attention in class, or spending time each day reading a book. Maybe you’ll decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity, or volunteer in your community. Maybe you’ll decide to stand up for kids who are being teased or bullied because of who they are or how they look, because you believe, like I do, that all kids deserve a safe environment to study and learn. Maybe you’ll decide to take better care of yourself so you can be more ready to learn. And along those lines, I hope you’ll all wash your hands a lot, and stay home from school when you don’t feel well, so we can keep people from getting the flu this fall and winter.
Whatever you resolve to do, I want you to commit to it. I want you to really work at it.
I know that sometimes, you get the sense from TV that you can be rich and successful without any hard work -- that your ticket to success is through rapping or basketball or being a reality TV star, when chances are, you’re not going to be any of those things.
But the truth is, being successful is hard. You won’t love every subject you study. You won’t click with every teacher. Not every homework assignment will seem completely relevant to your life right this minute. And you won’t necessarily succeed at everything the first time you try.
That’s OK. Some of the most successful people in the world are the ones who’ve had the most failures. JK Rowling’s first Harry Potter book was rejected twelve times before it was finally published. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team, and he lost hundreds of games and missed thousands of shots during his career. But he once said, "I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
These people succeeded because they understand that you can’t let your failures define you – you have to let them teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently next time. If you get in trouble, that doesn’t mean you’re a troublemaker, it means you need to try harder to behave. If you get a bad grade, that doesn’t mean you’re stupid, it just means you need to spend more time studying.
No one’s born being good at things, you become good at things through hard work. You’re not a varsity athlete the first time you play a new sport. You don’t hit every note the first time you sing a song. You’ve got to practice. It’s the same with your schoolwork. You might have to do a math problem a few times before you get it right, or read something a few times before you understand it, or do a few drafts of a paper before it’s good enough to hand in.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don’t know something, and to learn something new. So find an adult you trust – a parent, grandparent or teacher; a coach or counselor – and ask them to help you stay on track to meet your goals.
And even when you’re struggling, even when you’re discouraged, and you feel like other people have given up on you – don’t ever give up on yourself. Because when you give up on yourself, you give up on your country.
The story of America isn’t about people who quit when things got tough. It’s about people who kept going, who tried harder, who loved their country too much to do anything less than their best.
It’s the story of students who sat where you sit 250 years ago, and went on to wage a revolution and found this nation. Students who sat where you sit 75 years ago who overcame a Depression and won a world war; who fought for civil rights and put a man on the moon. Students who sat where you sit 20 years ago who founded Google, Twitter and Facebook and changed the way we communicate with each other.
So today, I want to ask you, what’s your contribution going to be? What problems are you going to solve? What discoveries will you make? What will a president who comes here in twenty or fifty or one hundred years say about what all of you did for this country?
Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can to make sure you have the education you need to answer these questions. I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to do your part too. So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us all proud. I know you can do it.
Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.

My tribute to America

When I was a kid growing up I have always heard about a country called the USA, like I have heard about many other ones. For some reasons I kept hearing more about America than any other countries. Growing up in Haiti, I've always heard about the "land of the free" as the "paradise country". In my young mind, I thought there was a tree growing up money in everybody's backyard, therefore for me from my interpretation of the country I thought that everybody was rich. I have had a lot of expectations for this country and I have always wanted to call home such a beautiful and rich country. Oh, before I forget it as well... I thought also all American could sing!!!!!

I have heard a lot more about America but these two conceptions were the ones that I was expecting the most. Well... God made it possible for me to come leave in America. What about all I was told about it? Was I disappointed? What do I think of it right now!

Hold on, don't be too much in a rush and let me slowly but surely take you to my conclusion and may be you will be able to see for yourself what a Haitian boy from way up in the mountain who is now a father think about America.

I have been living in this country for almost 10 years now. America is my home, since I am a Citizen of this country ( Thank God). I have seen lots of even unfolded from 9/11 to the Iraq war, from people being fearsome to being more patriotic than ever. I have read a lot of blogs ad watched a lot of news! I am a news junkie by the way! I have seen people cry in America more than I have ever seen in Haiti. In America, I have learned it's OK to cry, 'cause this can release your stress, your pain. I have learned to stand up and make a difference. Most of all what I have learned is that you can be everything you want to be as long as you work hard for it. I do think that Americans in general are the nicest people I have ever made! Some of them are the rudest ones as well! But like I say generally in my opinion, they are pretty inviting.

I have been blessed to meet the nicest people who have helped me to shape a new picture of America. Of course, as soon as I set foot in this country I realized: "where in the world are those money trees people were talking about?" There surely isn't nothing as such , at least I haven't seen one or knows everybody who has one, but may be tit was a metaphor and my innocent mind as a child took it literally... Well... there are a lots of grown-ups who still think so!

I have also realized that there are a lot of singers in America but I did not know about these people who think they could sing and unfortunately they sound as nice as a cow and horse signing together when they are hungry and I am a member of this club (lol).

Am I disappointed? not at all! I love this country! America is always the first country people have eye on when there is a natural disaster in any part of the world! If any country do not help the one that will receive the most blame will be the USA. Why because they are always there to help! I am not saying this country is perfect. There are a lot of stuff happening in it that I do not agree with such as kids not respecting any adults, signing all kind of songs with bad languages in front of elders and not even care about them, people living 1 yard from each other and not even know their first name, the way Haitians are treated when it comes to immigration/deportation. No country is perfect for sure! Still I am not disappointed! Why? Because this country gives me a lot of possibilities! I can be anything I want to be! It will not be given to me on a golden plate, I just have to believe in myself and work hard for it!

Unfortunately a lot of Americans do not have a slight idea of how blessed they are to call the USA their home country. They are spoiled and spend their time complaining about their 500th TV channels which is not working while the 499 others are. They complain about the hamburger which was not warm enough or making a scene about a pickle missing on their burger.

My point is no matter what, The USA remains the richest country of the world and is still the land of the free, a land of opportunities for whosoever. It amazes me to see the amount of people who spend their time complaining about nothing or about useless stuff instead of being thankful to God that they live here!

May God bless America and every other country and may America keep on rising up knowing that God should be their anchors. I love America and wouldn't' trade it for any other countries! I love Haiti as well it is the land on which I was born and no matter what happen I will always remain Haitian and my heart will always be buried in Haiti but living in the USA has thought me so much: you can be anything you want to be, just work hard for it.

On this 4th of July I wish America and Americans from all over the world a happy anniversary! May God keep on blessing this country and make people within realize there is no true happiness in the world no matter where you are but all this can be found in God. If I had to choose again where to live without a doubt it will be America! As we are celebrating with fireworks, barbecue and all kind of festivities, please remember the true heroes who fought for this country's freedom and those who are still keeping it this way! Let's us all be grateful and cherish this treasure that we all have which is America! I love this country!

If you feel the same as I do or you have better feelings for America or you feel totally the opposite way, please write your comments with respect (no cursing) and I will post it.

Happy 4th of July to you all!

Sammuel

This is it!

As the title of his then upcoming tour was name so was it for his life. Michael Jackson took his last breath on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. HE is a music icon the most famous in the world as he is as well controversial. Whatever your view about him is we all agree that we lost a giant in the music industry and I hope that he was a great human being in his personal life.

Fame and fortune does not bring happiness but the joy of the Lord Strengthens! You never know when is your last day so spend everyday as if it was your last one in a positive way!

You are welcome to state what you think about Michael Jackson and if you want to write some words for his family and fans and foes please do so with respect. Whether we want to admit it or not he was the best!

What happened in his private life I don't know and I just wish that he made peace with the Lord!

United we stand

On Wednesday March 10 a 39-year-old Museum security guard Stephen T. Johns was gunned down by 88-year-old James W. von Brunn, a white supremacist! According to authority Stephens did exactly as he should to prevent Mr. Brunn from gaining access to the Holocaust Museum. I do pay tribute to Stephen T. Johns and the other security guard who did all they can to avoid more casualties. For this, Stephens T. Johns is a hero. HE saved countless of life by laying down his.

We are in 2009 and the holocaust Museum symbolize for me: No never again! Why do we even have to talk or write about this kind of unjustified crime, why is it that we even have to hear about hate crime! We are made different, we came from different nations, backgrounds, our beliefs, our skin colors, our tastes etc...

Though we are different, when united we can make a big different, it is like different candle getting together to form a beam! So we need each other and we can't do it without each other. We have to accept the differences between us and instead of rejecting it, embrace it 'cause together to do wonder.

How boring would the world be without one another? How non-sense would it be to leave with people that are just like you? Think about it: you would not need to learn anything and you would be doing the same old stuff everyday... Life would actually be tasteless and God did not create us one of a kind for no reason.

If you hate other people because of their skin color, their belief or their origin or culture, you are missing the point. This is for everybody! Let's be united and go through life experience together just as we are.

I have a lot of people I disagree with and there are a lot of stuff I disagree with but that does not entitle me to kill to get my point through. What happened to "take it to the Lord in prayer!" I think this is the main thing going on around the the world: People need the Lord!. We can't make it by ourselves we are getting crazy, killing each other, cursing at each other! Jesus says love your neighbor and pray for those who do you wrong! There is this thing called dialogue! Violence does not work it hardens the heart of both parties.

Let's invite Jesus back in our life! Let's put God back to our schools and universities and public places and let's recognize that we are different so that life can be more exciting, more fun!

God bless you and I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the parents, family and friends of Stephen T. Johns! May God bless you all

Proud to be an American

I called the Bob and Sheri show this morning on 107.9 the Link. You are welcome to listen to the audio I am happy and flattered that this country can accept me as its citizen.

The audio as a lot in it so I encourage you to click on the link to listen to it. Remember to stop the music which auto plays as soon as you get on the blog.

Bad: we can go as far as the moon but still do not know our next door neighbor

Good: Liberty of speech and of course they are more good things that I love America and some that I do not like but I did not have too much time to think. Tell me what you think!

Be blessed!

A project for Haiti! You can help me make it happen

I need your input!

As you know in the US every year around December different people do something special for others less fortunate or for a total stranger, well... this happen actually more often than that. This year I want to be able to do something special as well! Here comes the crazy part: I have no clue how am I going to pull it off!

I am thinking about giving at least a thousand poor kids in Haiti a very special Christmas! Where they will have a nice meal and some good presents! I do not know how I am going to pull it off! I surely do not have the financial means to do it.

SO, I am asking all my readers, occasional readers and even if this is your first time reading this blog to let me know about ways I can help make this dream come true.

I was like these kids very poor but God help me through and I would like to help in this special occasion and hopefully more often!

If you are out there and have some ideas or know someone who might be able to help with fund raising ideas or somebody who can help set up a fund raising or someone who wants to provide the finance necessary for this project, please have them contact me by either responding directly to this message via the comment section or just write me via contact.

Thanks for making this wild idea a reality! Please forward this to as many people as you know! You never know! Let's make it an internet sensation where the online community can join together for a good 'cause!

Gather your church (good project for youth group), your classmates (good classroom project) your co-worker, parents etc... and let's make it happen! They are many TV shows who are looking for bad news to broadcast, encourage them to read this blog and they can as well participate in this great project (which is higher than I)

I know God will make a way! Do you want to be the one through whom he extends his miracle?

Thanks in advance! One thing I have learned about America is that if you put your mind to something the sky is the limit! I do believe this!

God bless!

A special tribute to our men and women in uniforms

On this memorial day, I would like to extend my gratitude to the men and women of law enforcement to all the veterans and POW and to each and every one who works endlessly and tirelessly to keep us safe.

Freedom is something that every thirsts for and this is why I ma so grateful, proud, happy ... blessed to be living in such a country where for sure I know that my words are not going to cause my death or my imprisonment! I am not saying the USA is perfect ( it is not all) but it way better than much countries!

Our armed men and women put their life in the line for the safety of us all regardless of religion, political affiliation or country of origin! We are all American and America stand fro freedom, liberty and justice!

Our military put their lives in danger every single day! I was watching some videos the other day and I concluded this is not a game! This is real! Please pray for them, honor them! You might not agree with a war but remember their are just executing order and deserve 100% percent respect. Their are dads, moms, sisters, nephews and nieces, cousins, brothers and sisters, neighbors, classmates, some are not even old enough to drink legally!

Dear God,

Please protect our military men and women
and bless the parents of those who have fallen
help them to know that their loved ones
did what they think was best for our country!
Help our military to acknowledge you as
their one and only saviors!
In the name of Jesus
I pray Amen!

May God bless America and happy memorial day and don't forget to thank our men in uniforms!

God bless

My favorite renditions of the USA National anthem

Here are the lyrics from what I have observed personally 100% of all people I have talked to about the National anthem do not know all the verse. Just to make a point here are the lyrics of the United States of America National Anthem:

The Star Spangled Banner

Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In fully glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh, long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution!
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Oh, thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust":
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Now in no particular order, here are the videos, tell me what you think!
